Odds & Ends

Here are some quick pics that made it to Facebook, but not the blog.
Then I'll start doing some real catch up:)

Mop heads and their morning routine.

Time for summer hair cuts!  I'm starting to get the hang of it...

Silly dog and dirty windows.
I never thought I would ever be posting pictures of my dog.  I'm just not a pet person.  But he got a tire off of one of the kids' toys and got it stuck around his mouth like a muzzle.  So funny and sad at the same time.  I have no idea how long it was like this.

And last but not least, Cal's train noises.  Doodle oodle oodle doo doo!

Father's Day 2012

Happy Father's Day!  We're so grateful for all the dads in our lives!

We celebrated with the Page side last night at a yummy bbq.  Steve put his new traeger to good use and  the cousins got to play play play.

Here's the cute boys after church today.

Today we celebrated with the Cooks.  We went up right after church and while we were waiting for the food to finish cooking, my sisters and Tyson shared some Marley's Mellow Mood - a relaxing drink full of melatonin.  Without my knowledge Tyson gave a cupful to Easton.  The next thing we knew he had fallen asleep on my lap at the dinner table.
He was out cold for a good 2 hours and NOT happy to be woken up.

Easton wrote his dad a Father's Day letter.

Summer Slacker

We have been having too much fun lately to blog.  Even to take pictures.  Tyson finished the school year and has been doing a 6 week rotation at Family Pharmacy in Payson.  He loves it and I'm so glad he enjoys it there.  However... he is working 4 - 10s so that makes about 12 hours straight for me with the kiddos and they sure wear me out by the time he gets home at 7:30!  I'm so glad that I have fun neighbors in every possible direction to play with during the long days!  We have been spending time at 7 Peaks, playing in neighbors' kid pools, riding bikes, visiting Aunties, and watching Disney classics on our new VCR.  It's been a great summer so far!

Tyson has Wednesdays off.  So every other Wednesday (when I'm off) we have a lot of together time and I think it's pretty great.  This morning I put Callan down for a nap and Tyson offered to take Easton to Cabela's.  When they finally got back 2 hours later Tyson brought 2 boxes in the house.  One was Cabela's fudge and the other was a box of bullets.  Easton quickly informed me that there were not bullets in the box anymore, there was a snake.  Tyson got a jar and went to put the snake in it but the box was EMPTY.  Fantastic.  So we all had to go out to the jeep and search for the snake for a half hour.

Tyson found it under the dash mat.

Easton was all kinds of tough about it and loved showing it to his friends.  When I showed him this picture on Facebook he said,
"There's me.  Lookin' like Batman."

Tonight we needed to get away so we headed up AF canyon and played in a reservoir.  It was beautiful up there and surprisingly warm.

We were visited by 9 little ducklings.

It was super muddy which was fun, but had I known beforehand I would have brought towels or something!  Easton worked hard taking mud one handful at a time to a rock out in the lake trying to cover it.

Callan eventually got brave and wanted to walk in the slippery mud all by himself.

This is a bad picture but look how delighted he was with the mud on his hands.

Tyson put is shirt back on just in time.  I almost got quite the redneck picture:)  Just had to prove he was there.  He was mostly on puppy control duty.

Oh, you didn't know we had a dog?  Ok maybe I'm still in denial.  I'm easing my way into a puppy introduction post.  But it won't be tonight.
